Work With Me

The Steady Leader Method

A 10-week coaching experience for emerging leaders who are tired of overthinking the people problems you don’t want to handle.

You're good at what you do. You wouldn't have the role if you weren't.

But somewhere between getting promoted (or opening the business, or building the team), you realized: the skills that made you great at your job aren't the skills you need to lead people. And nobody handed you a playbook for that.

You're putting out fires. You're avoiding conversations or they simply aren’t sticking. You're carrying your team home with you every night. You know you should be having more conversations with your team but you don't have a structure for it yet. You need to create clarity when things are messy and support your people without carrying everything they feel.

And you don’t have anyone you can be honest with about how hard this actually is.

You don't need more content or another leadership course. You need a coach who will help you build the skills and the plan with your actual team, in real time.

That's what this is. Together, we’ll take the situations currently draining you, the conversation you’re avoiding, the feedback that isn’t landing, the expectations that aren’t sticking, or the team member you don’t know how to lead, and turn them into clear next steps, better language, and steadier follow-through.

What we will do together

  • Preparing for a hard conversation with someone who is underperforming.

  • What to do when feedback isn’t sticking.

  • Resetting expectations with a team member who keeps missing the mark.

  • How to be direct while still being kind.

  • Understanding why one person on your team is taking up so much mental energy.

  • How to start delegating without micromanaging or rescuing.

  • Creating a communication rhythm so your team is not always guessing.

  • How to stop carrying one person’s performance or attitude home with you.

  • How to hold the standard and keep the relationship intact.

What Changes

You will become clearer, steadier, and more confident in the leadership moments that currently drain you.

The conversation you've been putting off for three weeks? You have it. And it goes better than you expected.

You walk into Monday (or whatever day your "Monday" is) knowing what your week looks like, what each person needs, and that nothing is being left unsaid.

The mental load gets lighter. Not because the job got easier, but because you finally have a structure underneath you.

Work is still work. But you're finding the rewarding part of it again.

Send me a note. In what ways could you use support?

How It Works

The Steady Leader Method is built on three fundamentals. Simple, basic, and most leaders aren't doing them.

Know Yourself. Before you can lead anyone else, you need to understand how you show up. We’ll uncover your strengths, your blind spots, your defaults under stress. We start here because this is where the patterns live.

Know Your People. Build a practical map of your team so you know who needs clarity, who needs support, who needs challenge, and where expectations are breaking down.

Hold the Standard. Plan and have the conversations, give the feedback, delegate, and follow through that your team actually needs from you. You stop reacting and start leading intentionally and steadily based on the people actually in front of you.

Each phase builds on the one before it. We move at the pace you're ready for, not the pace of a curriculum.

What's Included

A 10-week private coaching experience where we take the people problems currently draining you and turn them into clearer conversations, stronger expectations, and a practical leadership plan.

5 one-on-one coaching calls — 60 minutes, every other week, structured around where you are in the framework.

Async support — Text or voice message me between sessions when something comes up in real time. You're not on your own between calls.

Call recaps — A written summary and action items after every session. This becomes your personal leadership playbook.

You will walk away with
A better understanding of your own leadership patterns.
A map of each person on your team: what they need, where they struggle, and how to lead them.
A communication rhythm for check-ins, feedback, and follow-up.
A plan for the conversations you’ve been avoiding.
Clearer expectations for the standards that matter most.
A repeatable way to diagnose people problems before reacting to them.

Proven tools and frameworks — Practical strategies you can use with your actual team the same week.

Investment

The 10-week coaching experience is $1,500. Flexible payment options are available.

My philosophy is Lead Like a Coach. Great coaches keep it simple. Most leaders don't need a sophisticated framework. They need to do three basic things consistently. That's what we build together.

“Working together - it was good to have the proactive flame reignited and thinking of different ways to address the challenges ahead. It was also good to reframe some of the challenges and ignore the non-critical ones to free up mind space to focus it on a growth path. ”

“Kristin is an awesome mentor and is a great sounding board who doesn't hesitate to tell it as it is while bringing a fresh set of eyes to whatever challenges you're working through.”
